Robbie Williams, who celebrates twenty years in the music business this year, has given his new single Morning Sun to Sport Relief as their official charity single for 2010. Wathe Robbie Williams latest video online. The track will be released on March 8th, before Sport Relief weekend which falls between March nineteen and March twenty-one 2010. With Virgin / EMI Records, all the record company profits and artist royalties from digital single sales of the track in the United Kingdom will go to the charity, as will revenue from the writers and their publishers – Robbie Williams and Farrell Music, Danny Spencer, Kelvin Andrews and Chrysalis Music, Richard Scott, Scott Ralph and EMI Music Publishing, Don Black and Sony / ATV Music Publishing. Robbie recounted today : “I am awfully pleased to give my time to help Sport Relief and I thank my corp writers for doing the same. Please join us in helping this very worthwhile cause”. Williams is concerned with many charities including his very own charity Give It Sum and is also Patron of the children’s charity, The Donna Louise Trust.
He’s an envoy for the world children’s charity Unicef.
He also lately recorded a solo contribution for “Everybody Hurts”, the Helping Haiti charity single. Robbie will accept the Excellent Contribution To Music award at the year’s’s Brit awards.
