Honest Guy: Meet Thoughtful Companionship

Look, I’m not that desperately eligible guy, comfortably occupied by sitting at home solo instead of living it up with friends. I’d wager you have never read me ramble about great dating and relationships. Not a fan of the drama.

Boredom is an unfortunate foreign condition and totally missing from my genetics. But I do have a tender heart. Winter of 09 was an exception, I definitely needed to end a worthwhile cohabitation which meant a lot for us but essentially deadended for both of us. I guess one could go on record saying its been ages since I dated. I’m missing the great expectations for dating I used to enjoy.

Being single is new and free. I know one thing, I won’t be reduced to stay in peacefully watching Lost episodes off the torrents. The real cause of this spell of occasional dating loneliness? My coworkers are stiffs, and everyone else is boring.

My former college pal, Brandon, who has never had dating loneliness, informed me he’s now in a similar place. He signed up for Great Expectations Phoenix. A bit out of character, but I enjoy introductions with new chicas around my age. Go figure, I put myself on a plan and signed up.

Keep it real, you wouldn’t complain due to going dateless when you haven’t stepped off the bench. As our senior year soccer coach Jason Neelon chimed in as his idea of encouragement, “Fools lose before they try, stupid.”

I don’t know why he called me that. Regardles, the old man was on the money in a good old fashioned way. He meant well to everyone. The care-free Dallas matchmaking service I joined might’ve done a number on the old man’s shiny bald head.

Through great expectations I talked to a ton of quality and attractive ladies that meet my eye. I actually had a carefree night with a few intelligently enjoyable singles. The evening ended following an exchange of digits, and as a plus, I came across some professional relationships for my company. Success.

Take action. Can’t complain if you sit the bench. Take it from me, believe in your own great expectations for great dating.

Frankly,

Josiah
