The Pricewaterhouse Coopers LLP More London building which is situated in central London near the Tower Bridge has just been given the BREEAM rating of ‘Outstanding’ which is the highest honour given to a building for its sustainable design and environmental friendly business performance.
The buildings are given scores based on certain criteria. If the building has minimum score of 85% in innovative environmental considerations and waste heat is used to maintain the temperature in the building, it is given the rank of outstanding. Further, one fifth of the concrete used in the building must be recycled aggregate.
Pricewaterhouse Cooper had designed the desk space with the help of BDP, a multidisciplinary design consultancy group in order to meet these high standards. It was done with the intention to create a high standard building as far as environment friendliness and sustainability is concerned. A large part of the aggregates came from recycled material and the building was made especially environmentally sustainable.
