What’s the enjoyment behind a wedding without putting your soul into every little detail? Permit me to shamelessly promote the Shapiro family’s storied flair for throwing Chicago weddings to remember. Maybe if you live in around here you’re already familiar; we boast a long reputation for planning incredible Chicago weddings.

We eat, breathe and sleep weddings. Actually, everyone we know makes a living creating weddings: High Fashion experts, photographers and hair stylists. My Uncle Theodore is a very charming wedding singer songwriter and violinist (you’d have to hear it to believe it). Over the last few days we’ve carefully evaluated the creme de la creme of planners including some wedding planners in Dallas. No surprise that yours truly was raised planning weddings. As a remarkable luxury wedding planner who loves her craft, I am happy to be working for myself, planning my luxury wedding with a bit of insight from mother. And what’s more, I am madly in love. Some might speculate I’ve been lifted off my own two legs by the most wonderful guy.

Caroline, my luxury wedding photographer friend and I, are peas in a pod and total girlfriends. She a little enthralled herself fiance Chris. The other day, we looked through the vintage video footage of my mom’s notoriously tacky Dallas wedding. Good times hilarious, but trends evolve. There’s an example about good form in that.

You wouldn’t believe how great this is. Grandfather is so generous to be flying everyone in, and all our friends and family will be at perhaps the hottest venues! I won’t publish the when and where cause who needs wedding crashers. It’s a good time to be getting married, celebrating love with family and friends. We know the truth, that’s what a luxury wedding is really about. Cheers to the chivalry of life.
