Work at Height Regulations and How to Remain Safe at Heights

Labouring in high places securely isn’t only an obvious prerequisite to guarantee the well-being of your workers, it allows them to do their business properly without headaches.

Height falls are the greatest cause of fatal injuries and the second greatest cause of minor injuries in the workplace in Britain. There is a regulation called “The Work at Height Regulations” – this demands responsibilities on employers, those who work for themselves and anyone that controls the work of others to allow the securest method of working at height.

You need to select the best tool for the chore at hand. If the job requires some concentration, the last thing you want to worry about is slipping off a ladder. Something like a Power tower is genuinely the greatest choice for such intensive jobs far off the ground.

The Power tower is a perpetually growing array of Access platforms, developed to provide a selection of safe, handy and practical solutions when doing a job at height. No need to climb large steps, put up scaffold towers or podiums. Just push the power tower into position, step into the platform, and push a button.

Doing a job at height brings other perils too – to others below. You must make safe the area on the ground directly below to verify loose debris won’t land on workers there; e.g. those using floor saws directly below the workzone above.
